Ok lol

Thinking like that is prob why you have only won one game.

Wow well that makes sense. Is that also the reason we made the GF last year or the reason we won 5 flags in 6 years in the 80's. I follow a senior club so obviously I rate it more important than a club I don't follow. Kill me.

By the way is St Kilda more important to you or a junior club?

Obviously don't have the talent coming up the ranks do ya? Or you cant retain them because "bugger the juniors".

Iv been involved heavily with 4 clubs over my time and I can tell you that the clubs that look after juniors are the most successful.

And who said we don't look after our juniors? Certainly not me. At the moment we have Max Gawn and the 2 frosts playing AFL footy. I reckon our junior program goes ok but it doesn't change the fact the seniors are more important to me than the juniors. Cant you stay at the one club? And are the saints more important to you than the 4 junior clubs you have been part of?

No idea how you come to conclusion we don't have talent coming through. 7 players at Sandy Dragons this year suggests you have no knowledge at all of our junior program. As for retaining them well Max coached our under 17's last year. Is that retaining them?

And on topic I'm sure Freeman loves the Dingoes junior club but at the moment the Saints are more important to him.

That's great news you have 7 playing for the dragons obviously the development program is there, if those boys dont get drafted wouldn't be great if they come play for your seniors?

Lets say 4 of those kids come back and play seniors and make the club stronger where did that start? It started from the juniors making it more important.

Iv moved clubs for two reasons, one because of work and two because I had the opportunity to coach a 3rds side.

I love the saints but the club im involved with atm is more important to me.

As you say the club you are involved is more important to you and its the same with me and that's the senior club. As for players coming back well unfortunately we are an Ammos club and kids want money or to play a higher standard so at best we may get one or two back to our senior side. Anyway good luck to your club.

The club im involved with now are under 1 banner (snrs jnrs) and have a sub comitee, they focus heavily on player development and having a good culture not only in the seniors but also in the juniors. Juniors are the future. If you spend the time creating a good culture most won't leave for more money.

Yep good luck to yours also.

I know, that was a weird place to see them, they were in Carnegie Grill'd so don't get me started on their diet. It's footy training night and my kids free voucher he won at footy was about to expire so had to let him go. He was in his Saints jumper from training so Freeman said hello to us. I was going to leave them alone.
:eek: that's a minute from my house, gonna start going there every night to see freeman, may or may not carry a spare pair of cloud-like nike frees to give him instead of those deadly all stars
