Reckon he’d be a good pickup at a third club. Last year he definitely showed what he can do when injury free and didn’t disgrace himself when he got the callup late in the year. Bit of a shame but that’s football. He’s a booming kick .

Normally if they're in contention for a rookie list they announce that in the article and they'll stay on to train with us

Sad it didn’t work out, and I thought he’d revived his career around the middle of the year, but the constant injuries and lack of consistency cost him. If he could be rookied I’d do it, but I don’t know the rules.

Yes they definitely worded it like that. Hopefully they got a whisper from another club during trade week when they were trying to shop him around that they’d rookie him if available. Brissy makes sense.

Kreuger will always be a fond memory and a cult hero for me.

His comeback game on King’s Birthday was bags of fun and he was always enjoyable to watch with his lunatic style and the Kroog chant.

Hope he gets another run at it elsewhere. All the best Freddy!

Liked Kroogs and appreciated his efforts to stick at it through a horrible run of injuries. Has some tools but didn't quite work out for him.
