16 PPG shooting 41% and 30% with bad defence, no play making, takes awful shots.

All while acting like he can now have 'his team'. Yeah nah the attitude sucks and that is why he gets hate.
  • Think his shooting is coming back in past 5 games as has shot selection.
  • Think no play making is fine. He is SG and Deni/Jones got that role
  • Attitude is neither good or bad if you ask me. He needs to improve it but lets not pretend he is dogging it completely and Hardening it up out there. He has definetly had the maturity to pull back on his shot selection in the past week or two

Lillard is much better, the difference is Lillard is being expected to be a 1B or a 2. Jrue is what number 4 or 5 offensive option on the Celtics?

Also i am sure the Bucks would have loved to do MIddleton instead but he has no value, Jrue did.

Jrue is a much better fit for Derrick White in our backcourt than Marcus Smart.

I do wonder if the Bucks would still do the Dame trade if they knew Jrue would eventually end up in Boston?

Having said that the Griffin coaching appointment also looks like a disaster

Gotta say that overall

Jrue > Lillard

In reality its Khris Middleton who should have been binned in that deal for Lillard
As a Bucks fan, agree 100%.

Would much rather have Jrue on the roster than Lillard. I won't lie, when the trade was first done I certainly got excited about the Giannis/Dame duo but it's just not working. Also doesn't help our head coach is a worse version of Brendon Bolton.

Definitely. Don’t get the hype for Middleton. He has reached a ceiling

He is a gun player when fit and healthy. Unfortunately that rarely happens these days, especially in the playoffs.

It's a bit ironic the Dame trade has worked out a lot for Boston than Milwaukee (at this stage)

Brendon Bolton is a nice guy who actually kick-started the new professionalism era at Carlton/no more dickhead policy. Got a bum's wrap in the end, but he definitely did more for our club than Salthouse or Teague.

Latest rumours have Doc Rivers replacing Griff as coach of The Bucks before the all star break:(

Middleton was very good until we won the chip. Since then, his body has really let him down.

In all credit to the Knicks, they have been out their best player this season (RJ Bartett) all season, and causing us some serious issues in the paint.

I think I probably have undersold them somewhat. Once they find a PF upgrade to Randle, they could be a real threat in the East
It was a good effort but even without Barrett we just aren’t the quality of the top line teams. Solid side but just don’t have the star factor the others do. Brunson has been awesome but still he is no Tatum etc .

We really need to package whatever we can up and get Embiid to pair with Brunson and Barrett but it’s looking unlikely that would even be remotely on the cards with the Sixers playing so well.

Yeah, I think Embiid is not really a viable option (esp with Maxey rising as he is)

Your front court (esp in the PF postion) is the main focus for the Knicks going fowards.

Obi Toppin is a battler, got no issues with the Knicks letting him go.

The good news is you have cap space and draft pick assets to get someone in that can have a significant impact and improvement to your team (not necessarily a superstar tbh)

I have a suspicion the Knicks may make a play for Kawhi before the trade deadline (eps if the Clips continue to stink)

Harden is coping an absolute pasting at the moment.

Could he step back to a 6th man role? Then the clips can run their usual system and have some serious scoring in the 2nd unit. 6th man was maybe peak Harden.

I think the guy averaging 30+ leading his team to 65 wins in a season, and the only team to push the Durant/Curry Warriors was just a little bit better.
