I see the head to head is :

NZ $1.55
Perth $2.40

I know its at home for NZ but do they deserve to be that far infront ??

Just did a quick check on the nbl 2009 season results and found that the average total game score for the first 8 rounds of last season came to 167 points. This is based on 42 games which should give a fairly accurate picture of last seasons averages. The number of games in the first 8 rounds at or above 167 points were 23. No. of games under were 19.
So I wouldnt get too carried away with lines at 160 points unless you guys know more about the teams being more defensive. Otherwise, I cant see how it would differ this season from last. (unless the players shooting this season are somehow crappier or teams have improved defences)
Last week might have just been a one-off.

My 2 cents worth

This season the 3 point line has been put further back (unsure why or exactly how far) which may slightly contribute to players shooting poorly.

Last time they meet 72-76

Wild cats kept teams to a 78 point average last year

I'm tipping a very tough and defensive style game

Your right we should be cautious as teams warm up but I'm going big on this one

i'm going overs, the 4 meetings last year were 168, 157, 206 & 148. Last week the Wildcats shot 4/26 from downtown, and they are one of the better 3 point shooting teams with Drew Williamson, Kevin Lisch, Stephen Weigh. The Breakers were also poor from downtown shooting 5/20. I think both teams can and will shoot a lot better than that today.

Last week Breakers game was 153 total points and Wildcats was 143. In the Wildcats game both teams shot at 35%, that should be improved on this week. 4 out of the 6 games these teams played in the top end challenge all went over comfortably.

Over 158.5 points @ $1.90 for me.
