New coaches for both grand finalists I’m told.Has Trev coached his last game or is going again
The footy gear is still on the laundry floor. Now that the season is over do we know of any ins and outs of each club?
Watched him one day playing for jeparit playing against Hopetoun , probably had 3 touches when they won by a heap , lucky there was a fence around the ground because if there wasn’t he would have been calling for the footy in the car park, that scared of the contest it’s not funnyFor big money like that he would have to heading to Birchip surely.
You both made profiles to post that rubbish? Your English teacher would be horrible with the grammar & lack of punctuation. Stay in school.

Rocket rocket rocket we can’t hear ourselves think!!!!Identical grammar and incorrect use of punctuation.
Same individual.
Gedd Hommelhoff on the move to Sebastopol will Koby join him there?
unlikely, as he has already been announced as skipper for the Lions
They tend to do alright in the Ballarat climate..Yeah unfortunately for us he wants to meet more people in Ballarat.
Hopefully they pick on redheads and he comes back.

Sounds like a Birchip supporterHave to say congratulations to Sea Lake. Been there abouts since missing finals first year in NCFL.
Can't offer the same congratulations to the league on the new points system.
I can give a tick to the staggered approach but why o why have they set the bottom points at 38 ? Disgrace.
That's lower than all CMFL LVFL teams. It will be a shame to see quality of league to go backwards for the sake of a few underperforming clubs. The top 7 were able to beat each other this year and the finals race was a great watch for the month of August.
The NCFL is the last frontier against the impending doom of club decline in the North West of the state. It is such 'Micro' decision to reduce the best teams. We need to do everything to bring players families and friends to rhe league to experience Sharps pies, cold pots by the fire at Nullawil, the wide open space of St.arnaud, the Green Mill, Hot Chips at charlton, shit pies at Weddurburn et al
Country footy is an experience, a communtiy day. Recruits train prepare and put their body on the line for locals, they are well paid by locals. They stay they spend its a somewhat circular economy . Friendships arecformed from different life experiences and it enhances the lives of all invloved.
Limiting this is not the future.
Grow the league the quality and base of players by putting the lower teams out to 50.
A broader approach to thinking Is required for the NCFL to survive and thrive.
If every league does it, it will be fineHave to say congratulations to Sea Lake. Been there abouts since missing finals first year in NCFL.

You may have a point about 38 points being too low but raising the points of bottom clubs won't change anything as the bottom teams weren't on the edge to begin with. It's the same as the salary cap, if it were raised to say $250,000 that doesn't help the clubs who can only raise $150,000 a year. If the points were lowered in the metro leagues though then it would allow for a filtering out of good players into the country areas. But there would need to be a statewide effort and plan to implement that properlyHave to say congratulations to Sea Lake. Been there abouts since missing finals first year in NCFL.
