it’s easy to do, I believe the AFL Victoria website has multiple versions still actively published.
Look hard enough, you’ll find the version that still has the additional points for finishing top five in your clubs best and fairest. That went before covid came IIRC

They used to do a calculator, which you could import to Excel / Google sheets.
Yes/No questions, it would send you to the next relevant section once you answered from top to bottom, and if you had all the correct information, it was completely full proof.
Yeah that sounds like a good approach.

Player movement between rival club
has happened every now and then over the years. Usually it’d be the player’s choice, for reasons such as being closer to partner or place of work.
How often in this league would a club actively seek out the services of a rival player?

It might be more common for players who originate from outside the league but it would be pretty rare (and somewhat audacious) to lure a player to a rival of their home club.
The only name that springs to mind when thinking of NCFL players going to rival clubs is Aaron Walklate playing for Boort

Ben Walklate played at Boort as well, back in the day Roger Geron coached Boort and Charlton, Gary Sutherland played at Wyche, coached Wedderburn, John Bond played at Wyche and Birchip(was a champion player and bloke) Besty, Boort and Charlton but in all these cases they wernt locals except the Walklates. Just remembered another John McMahon ST.Arnaud coached Wedderburn his brother Gary played there too.
