next week is the last home and away game for the suns. so if they lose this sunday, they will go out in straight sets for mine

Only 1 team this season has won the week after a Darwin trip.That was GC.Makes it hard for Vultures or Suns in prelim final.Cannot see Thunder losing Qual final especially when Mcleod comes in.Only worry if ThunderDoc/MosquitoDoc gets a ticket to top end to be in attendance.
Been helping out Nauru in the IC11 CUP in Sydney and Melb.Watch out for Fiji to produce top quality players in future.PNG have great talent.Will Lake play John James on Sunday after playing for PNG on Sat at the G. PNG WILL qualify for the GF if they win tomorrows semi final.

Chikka, hows Nauru going. I have some good friends in Nauru. They love their afl.only a small island with about 10000 population, just wondering how competitive are they against the likes of png and fiji.

They beat Japan and Fiji in the pool stage.Beat Tonga in one of the most physical games seen.Lost to PNG by 80 pts on Sat.Never in hunt at half time but fought game out to end.Cannot see PNG losing.Have James,Labi,Parika,Susave,Wartova playing.Rest of squad can all play.Nauru play Denmark in Melb tomorrow.Win that and they play Friday to see who finishes 5th or 6th.Details on afl website and click on IC11

Have the Suns stated a plan for the neafl finals? ie are they going for the title? or dont care and are continuing player development?

Keep up the Good work Chikka, its great to see you and others taking your and their knowledge, time and love for our game out to other more non traditional areas of our region. The game can only get better when more people other than the norm get involved by either playing supporting or even just taking an interest in it, go the International Rules series and go Norway.

Aspley play like last week and win.
Speedy unit you would think that Brittain would be the best of the two to play but have heard his is very doubful. Been told Shir expected to be a couple more, but this could be mind games.......
I hate to say it and the head of the Gold Coast won't like it; but the young boys will win and win easily. Vultures on the Slide.

Hope you have got a better excuse this week if the Suns give you a touch up - I can't wait to hear it.
Mt Gravatt and Morningside to progress comfortably each by 30-40 points for mine. Suns to go out in straight sets. NT to defeat either Vultures or Panthers in GF.
But the season has had plenty of surprises so a couple of upsets likely, and my predictions have been off the mark quite often.

aspley and the vultures to win for mine. aspley won't roll over in this one. the suns won't get close.
so if the suns get rolled. their home final would be at southport on a sunday. but than again i thought the vultures would get a home game. so the game will probably be played at beenleigh

If the Suns lose in straight sets, go to mad monday with the seniors and their booked holiday in early September will anything be done for the future credibility of the competition.Probably not there are no conflicts of interest in Qld footy just ask around.
