Straight on to the BontGiven Fly had some involvement in Pickett playing the grand final after being taken in the MSD and having a long period out injured... we'd be every chance to just play him on Friday night. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
I like itStraight on to the Bont
My first thought too lol Surely there are some spares at the club lying aroundDidn’t even get him a jumper with the gold logo!
Much less shit hair at leastHe’s nothing like Sier.
He seems like another version of Rupert Wills.
Almost certainly. How else do we cover Pendles and Degoey as outs this week.I reckon he plays Friday night
Just play him
Sier was elite at reading taps - sadly Longs not even close. But in size definitely comparable.Maybe a Brayden Sier prototype.

Ned is much more committed than Sier, thankfullyGod I hope not.
That would be

Agree - the kid had huge potential. Now name how many of those had 21 touches (14 contested) and 7 clearances in about 50% game time of a grand final ?
Sier is a could have been ... Those guys you listed never were
He was really good in 2016. 18 games, 20 disposals avg, 7th in B&F.Forgot all about Josh Smith, bloody hell
He’s nothing like Sier.

I actually had a phrase pop into my head the other day and wasn't sure whether I had heard it before or how it came into my head, but I like itI have a soft spot for that big, flawed, lump of a lad.
The Bear copped a lot of criticism for his attitude but he had a hell of a lot more talent and impact than his contemporary Cal Brown and our current equivalent, Fin Macrae - both of whom have benefitted from far more patience and leniency because they were/are seen as highly professional and good guys, despite lacking any truly elite skills or attributes.
I think Fly would have gotten the best out of The Bear. He would have embraced his quirkiness and found ways to accentuate his positives and lessen his flaws. Alas, we’ll never know. But the legend of The Bear will live on!

"Talent may get you on to an AFL list but adding commitment and dedication may then get you a fulfilled AFL career."
I am sure that phrase has been used many times in a roundabout way in reference to many sports people.
