What about Eagles pick 22 or 23?I think Eagles would rather pick Jetta at Pick 7 ,Davis is not worth pick 7 as you say.I thought the Eagles had finished being involved in trade week!!!

That would be a terrible deal for us. He is worth much much more to us than pick 22/23. I don't think we would trade him at all unless it was for a first rounder - which at his age would probably scare alot of teams off. Adelaide need a genuine crumber so maybe they would be a good match. I hope we keep him.

Is he worth more to you then say a Luke Ball or Darren Jolly. You cant do both deals without a early 2nd rounder at the end of the day.

Pick 22 would make the world of difference to your trading plans.

We don't need to trade Davis to get Ball or Jolly, and no he isn't worth trading away at a shithouse price just so we can do those trades

Lord knows how you plan on getting both without it. Unless Saints accept pick 30 odd plus a fringe player which I cant see happening.

Your gonna have to trade someone away. Picks alone wont get it done. If Davis has had a change of heart and wants to leave itd be better trading him and not say a Nathan Brown.

Hes not worth pick 7. Probably worth between 15-20. Pick 22 + a little add on would be a good deal for both sides really. Not as if Eagles need him desperately, would just be nice bit of flash for now so of course we arnt gonna bend over backwards to get him

We have players of value who aren't necessarily named Brown, Reid, Wood or Dawes.

The AFL world is coming around to the realisation that the Collingwood list doesn't suck. Swan won the HUN award, and along with Leon and Maxy made AA... you'll catch on eventually. ;)

So which of those 3 are being traded then.

The idea that Josh Frasier is trade bait is laughable. Has 1 more year in him max, should retire today in all honesty and I wouldnt give up Mark Nicoski to put him on our list.

Ill sweeten the deal. Pick 22 + McNamara

These other moronic supporters just don't want to admit that we have real quality in our side.

McNamara and Nicoski are going to be delisted more likely then not anyway....

So people are saying that Ball an EX AA mid is worthy of a 1st round selection yet Leon is a 2nd rounder and is a current AA......I really dont get trade week.

We have no reqiement for either.

Mitch Brown on the other hand!

Doesnt mean both wouldnt get gigs elsewhere. Think trade you McNamara then you trade him on to Richmond where he might be going in the PSD anyway for a pick upgrade

You have to feel for the bloke, his season only starts after Draft Camp and ends once the NAB Cup wraps up.

I do not understand why anyone would want to trade out fraser or leon, Leon was all australian this year yes may have had a few bad finals has played some good ones, and Fraser is a gun in the ruck maybe not as a tap ruckman but his value around the ground is awesome would prefer him to Jolly but would like to see him and Wood in the same team more often IMO Fraser had a very good year. Would rather have a key forward come to the club and play Travis Cloke more up the field on the wing ala Richo styles for the tigers

I'd like to keep Leon as well so long as he wants to stay. The matchwinning qualities he brings to the team and the class is not something that is easily replaced. We simply do not have many highly skilled players, and losing Davis would have more of an effect than some people realise, despite his poor finals showing.

Fraser however SHOULD be offloaded right now. Fraser being great around the ground is a myth. 3-4 years ago he was very good around the ground and probably the best ruckman in the comp below his knees, but his injuries have pissed away his mobility and he now avoids contests. The possessions he gets now are soft ones, and he has very little impact on games. Jolly is a superior ruckman whom has improved substantially in around the ground work. He may not get as much of it as Fraser, but he has a physicality that Fraser lacks, is a much better contested mark and has far more impact on games, not to mention being an absolute monster at times in the ruck.

Yeah well I hear we aren't chasing Jolly or Ball anymore, we are gonna snap up Mitch Brown for pick 30-35... He isn't worth much more than that.

Eagles don't need Davis desperately, we don't need to trade him desperately. Pretty simple I would have thought. Stop posting shit

Why would pick 30 + a decent fringe player not get the job done, but pick 22 would? You're just wasting your time really.

i thought you said you would sweeten the deal? we're waiting

mcnamara? please. you mean the bloke that will be delisted if he can't find a new home? gee can we have him as part of a deal for leon please? he'd be on the bench in our 2nds

if jolly is worth pick 14 to coll then davis is worth at least the same to wce. about the same age, both had great years, wce crying out for a small forward ever since phil matera departed. just remember too how leon choppped the eagles to shreds earlier this year on the subi expanses, he would be sensational over there

So your gonna take your first pick at pick 50 odd?

Plus pick 22 and pick 32 are a bit different especially in a draft which runs 25 players deep as they say

Hello, Mark LeCras. You know the bloke you traded to us for CHad Morrison (bet ya didnt know that). Itd be nice to get a forward pocket but not essential. As I said hes worth pick 15-20. Davis is 2 years older than Jolly and isnt a rare commodity like a ruckman. Pick 22 + McNamara/Nicoski to either keep to trade elsewhere is quite fair. I mean you guys seem to think Luke Ball is worth pick 30 odd + a fringe player. I dont think Davis is that much better than Ball....

Well if we are intending on getting Jolly and Ball, which we are, our first pick will be a 3rd rounder until/unless we arrange something. Not a factor or a concern, and we certainly won't trade Leon for pick 22 because of it.

You trade us Daniel Kerr for pick 30 and we'll trade you Leon for 22 okay?

And it is 8 spots, if we include a decent enough player it won't be the deciding factor.
Collingwood won't trade Davis for a 2nd rounder, I don't even know why we are still discussing it.

Because he might want to leave?

Because he might want to leave?

Even though he re-signed about a month ago and his manager said last night that he isn't up for trade?

That isn't what I said though, I said he wouldn't be traded for a second rounder... it isn't as complex as you believe surprisingly
