Hi, just wanted to let know that Jimmy had 8 tackles last night. That's one more than any Melbourne player for Round 6. You could've done with some of that defensive pressure, huh?

LOL

Should play for Hawthorn with all that brown on the backside of his shorts every week. I was a fan of him for a long time but he is an A grade squib. Even after Saturday night all your supporters with a clue are talking about it.

Good to know he was doing something with his time considering he couldn't get his hands on the ball vs the mighty Tiges! :drunk:

Knowing Biffinator's love of charts, I think it's time to introduce.....

Hehe come on guys, just a bit of banter. Didn't mean to kick the hornets' nest.
Your obsession does seem a bit unhealthy though.

Better to rate him against Viney, drafted same year, against same opponent

Vs. Richmond Viney had 9 tackles to go along with his 37 touches

What were The Toumps stats again vs. Richmond?

9 uncontested loose bowel motions and 37 bouts of urinary incontinence IIRC.

Needs to do more ... Jimmy Toumpas tackles Richmond’s Brandon Ellis. Picture: Scott Barbour (Getty Images)

Toumpas: 5/10. Struggled to find any clean ball in the first half but did lay six tackles. His best is outstanding ... he just needs to do more.

Harsh thread.. Toump was an average footballer yes, but he was passionate about the Dees and would not have been his decision to leave. Seemed like a decent bloke and not deserving of some of the vitriol here. Scully and gold-digger frawley are far more deserving of a bake than Demitri.

In England the fans chant about players wives cheating on them and shit like that, this is a wet lettuce leaf of a thread

Scully got much more than a bake - he was truly despised and posted about accordingly. With Toump it's more of a sport - I don't think anyone actually hates him, it's just fun to rag on him, and Port pumping him up to be the next Chris Judd every week just makes it more tempting to do so.

And this is why this thread is 48 pages long. I could count 20 players between our list and theirs who will win a Brownlow before the Toump ... in fact ... Challenge Accepted!

Port:
Boak
Ryder
Harlett
Gray
Trengove
Wines
Wingard
Polec
Dixon
Westhoff
Ah Chee
Gray

Melbourne:
Hogan
Jones
Salem
Watts
Petracca
Viney
Brayshaw
Gawn
Tyson
Oliver
Vince
McDonald
Kennedy
Garlett
Vandenberg

... oh look it that, i named 26.
*The simple criteria of being players who are capable of games that will poll them votes ... which immediately makes them better than The Toump

Every young player who shows something is touted a 'future Brownlow winner' The amount of future Brownlow medalists currently playing in the league is astounding. There are sure going to be a lot of shared medals over the coming years.
