No, not announcing my elevation to the top job for the remainder of this season, that is old news. Traditionally the outgoing Baghdad Bombers captain anoints his successor after a thorough vetting process, which for reasons best kept for another thread, will not be happening this season.
Due to these unusual circumstances, this poll has been created for the good people of the SFA to partake in another Baghdad Bombers innovation, by voting for the next leader of this great club.
That's right, you the people, will have one collective vote for whomever you would like to see installed as the new Captain for next season. This vote will be used to break a tie in the event the club vote is split and unable to choose decisively between candidates.
You can use your power to elect someone that will bring the place down from within and eliminate the Bye or you could vote for someone that will continue the recent good work keeping this club in it's rightful spot as the backbone of the SFA.
A few rules:
1. You may only vote for one candidate
2. You may change your vote up to the final day of voting
3. Your vote will be visible publicly
4. Any candidate who has played for another club within the last 3 seasons will have votes from that club declared invalid under the nepotism rule.
Vote away good people and feel free to share your reasoning with others so they too might make an informed decision. Remember, this is not a popularity contest, it is an informed choice to lead this club either to the promised land or to extinction ... which may or may not be the same place.
