They went hard for Paul Roos a few years ago. With Bolton/Teague both effectively rookies at time of hire, you'd think they'll be searching for an experienced appointment.

Ideally an experienced coach who knows how to coach gen z footy. I suppose the likes of Nicks & Rutten show that a past head coaching role isn't entirely necessary. Sam Mitchell has links to Jack Russell - could be viable, though he seems the logical successor to Clarkson so he'd be hesitant to burn that bridge.

Try shake Sam Mitchell or Adem Yze or Kingsley out, I think that's unlikely however. If unsuccessful chase Ross the boss, he'll just get them back on track, very safe.

I honestly don't think Ross will go anywhere but to a club with all of the necessary players right at the cusp of a flag tilt.
No way he'll try to build anything himself. Much easier to just stay in the media until the right opportunity comes along.

Massive reason for Dees success, apprenticeship under Clarko, very highly rated assistant. Would be hard to shake out of Melbourne though.
