Brandon Ellis takes 42 (Stephen Ryan, David Honeybun)
Todd Elton gets 43 (Matty Dea)
Matt Arnot handed 44 (Nick Daffy)

Steve Morris wears 38 - worn by him in the SANFL and also by his Dad when at Richmond, which is nice

Cheers, added those. Already had Morris.

Richmond are taking the "rookies have to earn the good numbers" thing seriously this year! Even their first-rounder has to start off in the 40s.

Noted. Just giving the Morris & 38 thing some context.:thumbsu:

We have 5 rookie picks too! Somebody's going to get a distinctly unflattering number.

FiveS, what's the highest number worn by a current main list player?

#50 showed up at Melbourne last season. Michael Evans.

#52 is the highest I've ever seen. Shaun Rehn.

Also - I know they are just numbers but how wrapped must those young Cats players be? All of them getting a great number in the clubs recent history.

I liked Suckling in 31 tbh

Me too. I liked Luke Breust for it.

Nothing to back it up, but Gunston getting #19 would seem likely.

Hawthorn like shuffling numbers, so expect plenty of changes

Added Sellar, also Strauss and Nicholson have announced their new numbers on Twitter.

Similarly Jason Tutt has indicated on Twitter that he's moving into Ben Hudson's #15. No word yet on whether he'll grow an awesome beard as well.

From the Saints board -

6 - Sebastian Ross (Zac Dawson)
10 - Daniel Markworth (Steven Baker)
15 - Tom Ledger (Michael Gardiner)
16 - Jack Newnes (Ryan Gamble)
21 - Ahmed Saad (Nick Heyne)
29 - Jimmy Webster (Tom Lynch)
32 - Terry Milera(Andrew McQualter)
36 - Jay Lever (Tom Walsh)
37 - Beau Wilkes (Tom Ledger)

Those are the official numbers, Saints website can confirm.

Love Seb Ross in the 6, make it a midfielders number.

Would have preferred Ledger in the 10 and Markworth in the 15 as it would make more sense when you compare the previous owners of the numbers, but not bad selections.

Would've thought Saad or Milera would've gotten 16 but I guess the club has faith in Newnes.

After Saad it sort of fades away into irrelevant numbers

No number is irrelevant. They have just filled the gaps BUT I would hope these boys take it on themselves to make these numbers important ala Goodes #37 and Ling #45
