News New Jumpers for 2016

It's that time of year again! Welcome to the megathread which will undoubtedly be the most popular place of discussion over the off-season. After putting it to the polls last year, the feedback came through that weekly threads were the best throughout the season, while the megathread was best over the off-season. So we've decided to continue with that format this year, with a slight change to the OP.

Rather than having to constantly edit the OP with changes, with credit to akkaps we will be embedding a Google Doc into the second post which can then be updated independently of BF. The benefit of this document is that it can be viewed by date (main page) and by club (each individual page).

We trust you, the people, to update this if we don't get around to it first. Of course if there's any vandalism it'll be closed into read-only mode, but then we have the same problem we had in 2015 where the OP is only semi-regularly updated. So enjoy the responsibility, don't abuse it.

A final note, please make sure any confirmed releases in this thread are posted alongside sources, as well as indicating that rumours are that only.

Considering GC and GWS both had the same clash jumper this switching from ISC to BLK this could in fact be a "rule".

Rule in inverted commas considering Crows were able to get special exemption this for 2016

The design still stands. The design belongs to the club, not the manufacturer in this situation

Richmond will have a new pre season jumper:


BLK also said that we will have our colours fixed next year so our jumpers are no longer faded.

and on the collar we will have the slogan 'Strong and Bold'


The Bingle logo will also be slightly different.

Nothing really that major though for 2016.

Expecting Port to make this year's Showdown jumpers their home jumpers for next year. I know they had a survey earlier this year so make what you want out of that.

Crows will have full hoops next season.

WCE probably won't announce anything for a while now.

They've already scrapped it - it was scrapped halfway through this year. Rumours are new clash will be inverse.

Be interesting as Brisbane are due to wear a Fitzroy jumper for their Victorian hall of fame dinner in 2016.

Could be why they had the 40 years of TV one this year, could be trying to soften the blow for a Bears 30 year to be used in 2016.

I was also really surprised they didn't celebrate 70 years since Fitzroy's last VFL/AFL flag (1944) in 2014 with a heritage jumper.
