News New Jumpers for 2021

thick stripes are sick on the Pies jumper, but the shoulder panel stops them from being a hybrid classic/adequate black for the home and straight-up classic for the away. and still can't decide if they look impressive or really cheap.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I can't tell if I like them or not.

I think it looks better balanced with the centralised, smaller G. Shame the Home is still orange on the back.
The clash is dull but fine for the job - might have a few teams it's not compatible with though (Hawthorn springs to mind).
So: yeah, alright. See how it goes as a combo for the whole year.

Article on the club site also said that the 2020 indigenous jumper will be used in games that require a white based jumper. You'd think it would work for the games mentioned above but against teams like GC, Adelaide, Lions, and Richmond, I don't think it will be used.

Wonder if Puma have produced a set of these jumpers, or if we are going to see some heat-pressed logo action going on.

They didn't fix the main issue of the home jumper being the orange back and zero white to match the front.
The clash looks better than the old one but still underwhelming.

I guess bonus points for a team using their point of difference as the colour base for their clash jumper which will be good against Collingwood, Carlton, St Kilda, etc. But as a pair, it's a bit of a mish-mash if the home jumper retains an orange back.

The white line around the G on the clash weakens the design, which looked a lot better just more than 10 years ago:

The Giants did the bare minimum on the home strip, a full rebrand a la Port Adelaide would have been much better in my opinion, give me Central Districts style hoops.

Also, I don't know who made the Eagles jumper, but that's unforgivable. That company stuffed up the Melbourne Storm too.

it does look a bit bland too. using that punchy charcoal colour a bit more like the below would have been sick i reckon.
