charcoal back with orange numbers pops so well, it looks elite. if GWS went with their new home jumper but a back like this, it would automatically become one of my favourite jumpers in the league. huge opportunity missed

Yeah i love this concept, also as i said in the jumper ideas giving this a white yoke would make it look mint as well

Thought I may as well start up this thread as we're approaching that time of year where we start hearing about contract news and the like.

Myself and Red Crow will update the OP with confirmed changes as they come across; rumours can go in the thread itself.

Anyone else agree that the new Nike range prices for Collingwood and Sydney are about bang on for what all Clubs should be?

Disagree, I wouldn’t pay $10 for that new Castore guernsey. Looks like a Bali knock off.

did you see the Crows away jumpers? Possibly the worst in league history

I actually love the inverse the Crows are using, after some of the rubbish white jumpers they have had the last 10 years, I look forward to seeing a gold version of their home jumper:)

I'm pleasantly surprised with the Nike pricing. Haven't seen it in person yet so can't comment on the quality but the prices ISC were charging I wasn't never really comfortable paying for.

Are you serious? It's their best away/clash jumper since their last yellow based one (and the white version of it). The Crows have had some absolutely shocking white clash jumpers.

So I don't hate the new Giants gear, but I do think that they've kinda just missed the mark on them.

Centering the G gives it a more timeless look, even if it does feel a little Lions-like. I also love that they've gone for a predominately orange clash. Where they've missed with both of these changes, is that it was the perfect opportunity to go with a charcoal back on the home. The clash loses its point of difference a little when the home still has more orange than charcoal. As that training jumper they wore in AFLX a few years ago showed, the orange pops so nicely on an all-charcoal jumper.

The white keyline around the G on the clash is, as others have said, rather pointless. If they wanted to keep some form of white, they would have been better off doing a white yoke and making it a straight colour-swap of the home. That would somewhat defeat the purpose of an all-orange clash though I guess.

Overall, for me its probably a step in the right direction, but still falls short of an excellent set of kits.

A couple of other thoughts:

The stitching on the Eagles Castore jumper looks terrible, but the thick blue stitching cutting through the wings is not as big a sin as the sidepanels Puma used. I think when you're watching a game at the ground, or on long camera shots, it will be pretty unnoticeable.

These look good.
How thick is the fabric ? Look almost like an NBA Jersey with the breathability.

Seeing the Pies Nike jumper flat makes it look exactly like a basketball singlet. And people thought the narrow shoulders that ISC used were bad...

the new Giants jumper isn't bad, to be honest i'm surprised at the love for the old one. the G being tucked into a random corner seemed a bit arbitrary and smart arsey. this new one's a lot simpler and would've been better from the get go. it's a pity about the orange back being retained – keeping the back in line with the front so it's got a Dees/old Freo type back would've been preferential and with white numbers, would've balanced nicely with the G on the front.

away jumper is absolute shithouse though. people shit on Gold Coast's home jumper and this is basically the same thing. rubbish.

Its more about the symbolism of the g and how it was something different, not your standard centralised logo. I have always been a fan of gws kits but the home has been a good kit that they've stuck with. The new kit is very normalised, and the orange clash is okay, considering the home design, but it also can't be used in all clash games which defeats the purpose.

it just seemed different for different's sake though, honestly it was – along with Gold Coast's – the worst design in the comp.

I dont think anyone is saying that they have ruined the best kit in the league. But in my opinion gws have gone from something that is different and unique to something which is essentially the same as the suns, Carlton and lions; along with every other suburban and state league club that has its logo in the centre of the kit. Its just not better and arguably worst then what they had before.
