They don't need a white jumper... Orange doesn't clash with navy
Crows have a lot of red and yellow on their jumper which makes it clashy with GWS's orange. Not the worst clash but not a good contrast either.

Stop going to OPSM and go to Specsavers instead....

So much for the new logo being implemented to be more prominent on the guernseys. It looks to be basically the same size as the crest.

I'm sure I'll get used to it (I have no choice) but the corporate logo doesn't make anywhere near as proud as the crest did, even on the very best guernsey line up the league has ever had.

Boy, I sure am glad they got rid of the previous ribbon on the logo to add the thinner, smaller ribbon for legibility reasons.

And the whole reason the panel on the home guernsey was square was because all throughout history the St Kilda logo was SQUARE. This new logo is not. It needs to go. It's getting to a similar point of Gold Coast's 'back collar yellow panel' thing from previous years.

I think technically removing the ribbon allows the "crest" part to be slightly bigger, that is what they are alluding to.

Why keep the box with the new logo on the home kit? Seems like if you're going to update the logo you may as well do away with
I put it down to general stupidity, like when Ed stated as a fact that the pies will only ever play in black and white conveniently ignoring a big box of red for the sponsors at the time. Every club has to interfere just enough to snatch defeat out of the jaws of design perfection. Typically its to appease sponsors, but every now and then a club will fire up MS paint when a rebrand is required to cover up some club scandal.

I find it funny that most of the club executives have spent time in the US at NFL teams for "research"... and all they come up with is a another location to place a tramp stamp... something the NFL actively avoids.

There's a huge difference between a still close up photo and watching the game on a blurry Kayo stream.
If anything, crows need to find an optimal clash option against GWS. I haven't checked the fixture but I don't think they play in Sydney next season, but the clash in 2023 was worse than a Adelaide home game. But I do like GWS in a white guernsey, especially as a bit of a one off option or even through the Indigenous jumper every year (as done previously)

So you need a new internet provider AND a new optometrist

Caltex sponsorship?
Have they switched to away sponsors?
I think Caltex are gone and not on the club website anymore, so it might be Youi on the front and back of all jumpers.

Mero Caltex are indeed dropped and Youi has been elevated to sole Principal Partner (a new partner segment), no others have been added as yet

Crows should be wearing their gather round jumper against GWS and Hawthorn away (but don't for some reason).

Fix your stream, bruv
Kayo is a very substandard product (which is very obviously done on purpose to get people to pay for Foxtel go), I never have this issue watching on 7plus.

My point is it should be easy to tell two teams apart even with poor eyesight and/or a blurry stream (especially relevant with most AFL games behind a paywall). A jumper with a lot of red and yellow against mostly orange does not provide a good contrast.

This is from the highlights package for the game i showed above in 480p (which is SD)

This is what a broadcast will go back to if you have a poor connection. Even at this resolution you can clearly see GWS in the orange and white (other than maybe a player at the far back, but you can barely make out the players against the grass anyway).

Sorry to derail the thread, but I don't understand any of your comment at all.

I vote that the AFL make it mandatory for players to unblur themselves even at low resolution broadcasts.

I watch events on Kayo in 4K every week with zero issues.

A jumper that is mostly navy does not clash with a jumper that is orange...
