Agreed. The red-on-red had a bit of imagination to it compared to yet another inverse. The inverse just doesn't look that good because the contrast isn't as bold as Richmond's. yeah yeah I know everyone's wanted to see it but I genuinely think, from a pure design point, it does not actually look that great.
You could argue the White jumper with three Black stripes was the same.I heard the deal they had with Adidas at the time making the jumper White on Black made the front of the jumper a massive adidas three stripes logo?

I meant a teal guernseyAny news on Port’s clash for next season? I would love it if we went for a real guernsey. I think we wore something similar in 2016 or 2017. I think it would look sick and it gives us a different look. Would be an epic to see it worn against Collingwood or one of the big teams. Could someone come up with a design on it? Cheers guys.
Likely the same as this year, since the rebrand in 2010, Port have been very safe with their guernseys with the exception of the brief change to a silver away guernsey and the occasional heritage that isn't the barsAny news on Port’s clash for next season? Big fan of the thin stripes on the new Pies jumpers, much better than fat stripes we've had since the start of Nike years.
Also quite like the wings on the clash giving the sawtooth effect, I like the introduction of small details last year to differentiate kits year on year, while still keeping to tradition.
Did the Clash have an off-white appearance, or was it the same white as the Home? Cheers.View attachment 2185684View attachment 2185685
Yeah its really growing on me now. Went in store to check it out in-person and noticed the saw(teeth?) are slightly curved rather than straight, a detail that you can't quite see on the digital images well but make it a little less jarring.
From the front, the home effectively looks like a white jumper with 4 black stripes on it. Really strange to get used to but I quite dig it. Probably the first time the home jumper has really innovated since the Adidas days. I'd count the Nike move to broad stripes as an innovation in and of itself which I actually loved but don't see this as a downgrade by any means.
The only issue seems to be where the sides meet for the front/back (specifically for the home) the stripe simply gets cut off halfway through as can be seen on the left side, will have to wait for PI's and more photos of players to see if this will be as much of an eyesore as it seems.
No unfortunately think that's just the lighting. Looked just like the 2021-2024 Nike colouration.Did the Clash have an off-white appearance, or was it the same white as the Home? Cheers.
I wish they would do the word mark on the back, makes the same pointMero looks like a double-up with Youi, front and back

Probably the best outcome
Yeah it's one of those situations where they wouldn't have the really change anything about the logo to have the same effectI wish they would do the word mark on the back, makes the same point
Slight bit of news regarding Port. New training kit spotted which is a departure from last year’s one with the map of Port Adelaide on it that we’ve seen throughout preseason so far. Players in the white kits are using last years jumper. Anyway, we can see the collar used on the 2004 anniversary jumper is here, and the design seems to hark back to the teal training jumper we wore against Collingwood in 2002. Don’t mind this, and that collar should look alright on the home jumper.
Loving that NMFC monogram too!
That is delightful.
I'll apply idiot logic to it: What so they don't fly better anymore? I'll never fly Emirates againGot missed in the new designs, but Emirates have dropped the “Fly Better” tagline on the front of the Pies’ home guernsey
