I reckon everything Richmond has done the last few years has been dogshit.

I and many others would disagree, but it’s fine that you have a differing view.

genuinely don't understand how a partnership between a multi billion dollar company and the biggest sports team in the country can be so disastrous
I mean what did the Pies expect after how Carlton was treated by Nike? A mess from day one and that’s not even an exaggeration 😂

Pies went down the cheap route and obviously think their members/fans don’t deserve top quality.

Hate to say it but clubs like North, Blues, Tigers and now Bombers have gotten it right with Puma. They are the gold standard. They actually care about quality.

The gear NB-Belgravia has been putting out has actually been pretty good in 2024 and so far in 2025. They had some issues with fabric ripping in previous seasons, but that hasn't happened at all as far as I can tell since 2023. Is it weird that I think NB-Belgravia has overtaken Nike?

Not at all, I’ve been a tad critical of them in previous years obviously due to the quality but they’ve impressed me lately. I 100% agree. If Collingwood switched to them tomorrow I’d be pleased.

Clubs need to steer far far away from Nike, they just aren’t good enough in the AFL space. It’s really put me off them altogether.

Some real inspired stuff. There are a couple new things on the store, but they're just stock images of black Nike track zip-up jackets with the Collingwood logo on them, probably won't see them until June knowing how things typically go.
That’s another issue i have with them… all the off field stuff is just plain tops, jumpers etc etc with a Collingwood logo slapped on top. Yawn.

Not just AFL. I haven't bought a single piece of Liverpool gear since they changed from New Balance.

Honestly though what are crom doing about a clash jumper? Starting to get itchy and scratchy waiting for them to release anything about it

Calling it now. It's going to be something shit or murder of Crows level and we're all thinking it.

I've been buying NB since Melbourne first signed on with them in 2011, apart from a few questionable material uses for polos in 2011-12, everything I have is quality.
Main recent issue is they seem to have changed the cut of retail jumpers, I'm not a small bloke so get 3XL jumpers, but they are a different fit since the release of the Premiers edition, tapered sides almost.

I've heard this a few times actually. People who are medium are now an XL etc. Bit of a weird problem to have!

I have 8 Melbourne New Balance guernseys. All of them are the exact same size and every single one of them fits me completely different. Some are skin tight and others are loose and feel two sizes too big. New Balance quality is absolutely awful and I haven’t bought a new guernsey for awhile now because you never know what you’re actually going to get.

I actually tried on one of those new Brisbane Bears guernseys in Rebel the other week. Out of curiosity I thought I’d try on a standard Lions one in the same size to see if they’d fit differently and to absolutely no surprise to myself they were completely different.

I’m very over New Balance and have been waiting about half a decade now for us to ditch them. I’d like Puma. But we’re a cheap ass club and will probably stick with NB again.

Given it's taken this long, they've almost certainly changed the clash design very late on.

Same thing happened in 2017 when we did a fan vote for 2018 clash, but all options were poorly received so 2018 clash was changed last minute to be same as 2017. So we didn't see it until late January 2018 instead of usual November.

That was the one they tried to rig.

Oh how the turns tabled that week!
