hmm bartel would leave my mids as
ablett, corey, bartel, kornes, swan, thompson, but do i want him for the extra money? i could get stanton, cross, et al...,

food for thought

Kornes or Thompson

personally id go Kornes, he'll give ya 90 ever week just about guarenteed.

I figured something like that too but I need a big scorer for this recplacement and Kornes hurting his shoulder worries me. I plan on upgrading Andy Otten who has never disappointed me this season being the most consistant rookie and if I plan on upgrading him then I want a big point bonus. I get a feeling Adam Goodes will fire against the Hawks and get a lot of big scores... but at the same time, I'm not sure, I don't see Adam Goodes too much. Nick Dal Santo is going to have Brady Rawlings chained to him this week so I figured I'd avoid him, Thompson though looks good, I am a bit worried about his consistancy as he tends to score absolute rubbish on occasions but he's certainly capable of racking in big scores.

If you need to choose this week, I'd probably go Gia but Didak is capable of scoring more. He is coming back from injury though.

( I want to change this week).Yea thats what i was thinking. Didak may get the high scores but is coming back from injury thus making him more risky. Gia is the safer, but could playing melbourne get didak back into form??

I'd say he isn't really out of form. He kicked a few goals this week but just didn't get a heap of the ball.

H.Shaw +10K or Mackie, Shaw avging 89 since coming back in round 7, looks like not getting a tag, Mackie coming off a 100, however will his role change again seeing as though Harley is out for a couple of weeks?

I think you might get the bad score now and then from mackie but his scores will get better as the rest of the team start to come back to full power ie. Harley, ablett and Corey fit. He is also in a team that is goin to win alot more games and alot more football than Collingwood who could very easily miss out on the 8 this year. With Shaw you have to worry about injury, tagging(if he keeps up some form) and off field stuff. I think both have the same scoring potential but shaw has alot more risk, but with that being said collingwood have just got alot of stars back and sould pick up some form and you would think that leon davis, swan or didak would get the tag first on current form so you could go for either play but i would personally go for mackie just seems safer with he same upside.

As a 6th / 7th forward what are people's thoughts on Fevola?

His price has dropped and he seems to be posting some decent scores the past few weeks... Is injury still a concern?

Am I better off with a ROK / Didak / Franklin... Franklin has been rubbish most of the year and Didak is still a bit of an unknown quantity.

Opinions appreciated!

Thanks,

What do people think about Salopek?

Im thinking of doing 2 trades this week (Chad and Zaha upgrade), and the only way I get Goddard is to get a midfielder around $330,000...and Salopek looks the best option there (maybe knights, power, cooney)

Can he manage 95+ for the year? Is he a worry injury wise?

Thanks :)

He is a risk but I think he is worth it. In 2007 he played 13 games, in 2008 he played 15 games so he is a bit of a worry. His scores before getting injured were great (84, 102, 108, 104, 103, 115) so I definitely think he can average 95+ from here.

Thanks buddy. Im like 2 grand off doing Zaha > Kornes, Chad > Goddard.

Spewing!

Gia or O'Keefe?

Need to get rid of Krakouer before he drops even more...

o'keefe looks like a sure bet with hall and oloughlan back he'll play his usual role

ablett/bartel vs kornes + 100k?

i alreadly have 600k in bank if that makes a difference?

Im looking to do the same, decide between Gia or Okeefe, or maybe even Lids.

When looking at Gia, and his recent 120 score, has anyone else noticed that whilst Gia did well, Aker had a terrible game. What happens when Aker returns to form (as he has most of the season). Dont they play a similar role, along with BJ?
As for Deledio, im not confident on any tigers at the moment.

Im probably leaning towards O'Keefe for safety, although i think Gia could be just as good if not better, but with a little more risk. I'll probably sit on the fence until right before lock out, friday afternoon. Would love to hear more oppinions on comparing these forwards.
