Polson clearly had/has some attributes that appealed to the Club otherwise he would have been chopped .Playing back pocket might reduce some of the 'performance anxiety' he clearly has to cope with - by simplifying focus towards mainly one direction. I think he definitely displayed signs of nervy and rushed execution in the games of AFL he played - he did some really good things lost amongst far too many clangers and ineffectual running around as a pretend small forward.
