It seems fairly logical, and if we absolutely had to lose JK, I could think of plenty worse clubs to have to see him at than the Dogs. West Coast get their picks, we get our player, and the Dogs get their forward (at a bargain, methinks)

#3, Kennedy and #20 is a high price to pay. Two top-5 picks for Judd is easily enough and perhaps a bit too much. Maybe to Weagles will exchange pick #5 for a 2nd round pick.

Would be happy, as I think we tend to forget how good Judd is and I think everyone wins.

Maybe look at JK for pick 5 and not 20, or change 20 to 36.

Looks like no one is totally satisfied with the deal which in effect is a good thing if you think about it

In any trade there is a risk to take in order to make a gain.

Carlton risk pick 3 + 20 + Kennedy and gain Judd

Eagles risk trading Judd and get two low draft picks of untried youngsters

Dogs risk pick 5 for Kennedy + 2nd round pick

Everyone has taken a risk to gain alot, no one is miles ahead of the other.

IMO Carlton have their nose in front as the whole world knows how good a player Judd is and his influence over memberships, sponsorships, sales and confidence within the team will be enormous.

This is the fairest trade outcome I've seen to date, hope it happens
