I have to say, if Colin can pull off the vision that he is putting forward - I think it's going to be outstanding for this state.

The whole idea of the sporting precinct, the high-tech stadium, the walkway to the ground over the river - if it gets delivered - it should be money well spent - even if it does get to $1.3Bn

I'd much rather spend $1.3bn on something that is the best in the country and will be great for decades, rather than than $750million on something that is merely adequate.

That was always my gripe with the Belltower - should have spent 3 times as much and built something 3 times bigger.

The problem with this is that its building enough talk that it will effect umpiring decisions in games. Soon enough our players will be getting caught high and more and more of them won't be getting paid. It just shits me.

Swan Stadium isn't bad - and I would prefer it to the Perth Bowl, but I don't think that is too bad either.

I'm torn between having one of the funky names like "Stadium of Light" or "Birdsnest" etc etc and actually using the name Perth in it - which advertises our city.
