I give it a season and they’ll backflip on this

This isn't a trend. The Carlton, Adelaide, Freo kits are one-off kits (that Carlton one from 7 years ago lol), the GWS and Essendon ones are clash kits. Gold Coast are the first ones to actually do this to their primary kit. This trend of jumper designs in getting a bit out of hand
I think they'll change the logo and accents to goldI give it a season and they’ll backflip on this
Anyone want to take this idea and make it look good
Though it's not my ideal, they could have really gone for something if they'd actually properly embraced and considered the whole two-tone, heat-of-the-sun, magma thing.
The clash top, front the front, looks like its side panel swirls start the front and end the back: like a graduation.
The home though, they just sort sit there with no integration.
I wouldn't have minded a jumper that's sort of like a marbled, lava lamp look of the two reds swirling into one another; like one big gradient.
Ultimately though that would have been, again, lost with the myriad sponsors and other necessary applications. but it still would have been an alright idea.
Still hoping Tassie go for a 'forest green and Apple Aisle' dark and almost lime green look. the two-tone thing has so much potential. would not mind Freo considering a dual purple look to be honest, could add a bit more personality to the purple and white.
These are good. Really good.
Burgess said it was crucial to listen to the fans throughout the rebrand, who she believes had grown tired of the ‘Challenge Accepted’ theme introduced in 2019, as it “no longer represented where we were as a club”.
However, the feedback – particularly from a passionate fan base – might not always be constructive, which Burgess said was a major lesson for the marketing team.
“It’s all subjective – the scale of liking and hating a color or a logo. For me, I have quite a scientific data background, so I really leant into the quantitative research we did around the focus groups and the consulting,” Burgess told host Neil Griffiths.
“So whenever we got straight into murky territory, I could always refer back to that. [The feedback] showed us that most people liked this or didn’t like this. And then Bob East, our chairman, he quite often used to say, ‘You can’t make decision by committee.’ So, there’s no point in canvassing everybody for an opinion. You just need to consult the key stakeholders and then once you’ve made that decision, you back yourself.”
Ah Brewdog, the Tate brothers of beer.Another look at it from the Aunty Donna boys. mark doesn't understand why there is a K : on the jumper.
At this stage I just have to assume they wanted a Norwood type clean jumper and want to be known as the reds. No point focusing on any design elements... from a distance they aren't there.
What will the Fox scorebug look like??

No it wasn't. They are the nautical colours representing port and starboard. The green and red on Freo's jumper were a nod to the Italian community in Freo and surrounds
Another mockup of changing the light red to the Gold Coast Gold...
Pretty simple change for a pretty good jumper...

I’d have gone full gold side panels so that it’s more in line with the clash, but even this is an infinite amount better than the actual home kit.Another mockup of changing the light red to the Gold Coast Gold...

Should have copied this. Or KCC colour scheme. Even then pattern would look nice (Bit like the Bulldogs pattern).
What they have chosen is very strange. It's basically a red training top.
