Who am I??

With my first and only kick in VFL football I kicked my only goal of my career.

I knew it was Ian Randle, but who else for any club saved a team from a goalless match with his only kick ever?? To put it in a broader perspective, what player has altered the record books with his only kick ever? Without Randle’s only kick the last score of no goals would be 47 and not 50 years ago - though amazingly it would still be on the same round.

South Melbourne have had only two goalless matches, both in 1899 in the wet against Carlton and Essendon.
