Re: Mark Sanchez
Even the commentators after the game said he did well. No disgrace.

Will he be one of the next great QBs of the NFL? I've read many any expert commentators say this season that he has great flaws in his game and shouldn't have been drafted. Many Jets fans themselves (on Jets website forum) have bagged him during the season and have said he just won't make it as star QB.
They say his throwing action is suspect and not up to standard, but he keeps on improving and is gaining better confidence by the week. The commentators on that game last week against the Bengals couldn't speak more highly of him. Sure the Jets were lucky with scraping in a place in the playoffs, but the fact is that Sanchez is standing up in the heat of battle and is doing pretty well for a rookie ( and helped by a very solid defence)Opinion is changing on the young bloke....you're thoughts on him?
Interesting points you make, Mark Sanchez had a pretty respectable season, he had a brilliant postseason,
im not sure where the suspect throwing action stuff comes from, he is a typical pocket QB that likes to throw strikes down the field, He is an accurate passer but the issue with him was more to do with his decision making, often getting caught out throwing into double coverage down the field, that comes with experience, I read an interesting article on NJ.com about the offensive coordinator trying to simplify the plays for him so he didnt have this mental focus of trying to go and win the game on every single play, and it started to show going into the post season (I think he only threw one pick for the last 4 games, and that came late on in the AFC champ game V Colts).
The more I think about it and look for the article that i thought I'd read, the more I think I'm getting confused with something I read about Tim Tebow.
But many Jets fans during the season on U.S forums have been disappointed with some of his games. But of course now they all love him and most believe he is the one to lead them over the coming years to SB glory.
The Jets website reports that MS will proberly have a minor op on his knee that he injured back in around game 12. Nothing serious they say...
Yeah sounds a lot like something that people are saying about Tebow, Sanchez will have the surgery but it wont have any effect on his prep for 10/11 season, there has been a lot of people critical of Sanchez but one thing that frustrates me about US sports fans is that they are so impatient people need to remember that the kid was still young enough to go to college last season, ive been a fan all along and have no doubt that he is going to be a great player, couple Sanchez with the other young Jets: Keller, Edwards, Washington, Greene, Revis, Gholston, Harris the future is pretty bright, hopefully a bit more work can be done to improve our secondary in either free agency or the draft, jets should be playing in title games for the next 3-4 seasons
It's all coming along nicely in preparation for next season. Stoked with the selection of Kyle Wilson.
Had picks in the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th rounds. 3rd round pick was traded in the Edwards move I think.Btw, why didn't the Jets have many early draft picks?

Namath is one cool characterMust be a NY Jets QB thing....
Mark Sanchez, as a rookie, has looked goods and was well managed in the playoff victory yesterday but he deserves to be considered potentially great as much as Joe Namath deserves to be in the HOF.
Just watched Hard Knocks. Get a hold of it everyone, it's ****ing awesome.
The New York Jets and their coaching staff were today under investigation for allegedly harassing an attractive TV sports reporter.
Former Miss Spain Ines Sainz was watching a Jets training session when she was subjected to cat calls and on-field jokes at the Florham Park, New Jersey training ground, it was claimed.
During locker room interviews after the practice session, several inappropriate comments were made in the direction of Sainz, who works for Mexico's TV Azteca.
