it sounds personal, how did you come to be watching the u16's? and who are the pumpkins?

The U16 National Carnival is much better to watch than the U18 carnival.

The kids haven't got big heads and the coaches let them play their own game.

So when I get a chance I go and watch the U16 carnival.

The Bushrangers are renowned pumpkins. Their big blokes run around and only hit the opposition little guys, but when they get tackled, their insides turn soft mushy yellow, just like pumpkin soup, and disappear from the game for the rest of the season.

I'm definitely not from Sleepy Hollow, but I did watch the carnival in Adelaide a few years ago when Lids was playing.

Adelaide is a nice place, but too many South Australians live there for it to become popular with the rest of us Aussies.
