There should be a lot of heat on Voss. He's had 3 years now, with a list that is capable of at least challenging for a flag.
Starting TDK as sub should be a nail in his coffin.

Now put that in Port logic - Voss needs to have another 9 years and still not make a GF.......... then you are where we are.

Not only Port logic, but Caro, Whately, Kane and all the enablers..... 'but Ken is a great bloke'........

The biggest factor in replacing a coach would be not simply if the team doesn't achieve its goals, but the way it doesn't achieve them.

As an example, North Melbourne have been struggling for years and the Kangaroos have given Alistair Clarkson plenty of time to rebuild and turn things around. Obviously the Kangaroos aren't going to make the finals, or even climb to mid-ladder, in 2025. If North win four games and finish last or second last but are more competitive and seem to be working together and improving, Clarkson is going nowhere. But if the team continues to get thrashed week in week out and show no signs of improvement or gelling together as a team and learning and sticking to a game plan, then North will seriously consider whether things are going in the right direction under their coach and may well make a change at the top.
There’s already quite a few story’s leaking out of Arden st that he’s doing exactly what he did in his later years at Hawthorn and trying to involve himself in every dept(his comments on SEN regarding list management went down like a lead balloon), which has meant Viney’s role to keep him in check has also been queried.

This was a key condition of getting Clarkson to Roos, that he had clear boundaries and was not take over the club(as he had done at Hawks in his later years). On top of his public outbursts and behaviour that cost him $$$ there are board members at the Roos who are now not as enamored with him as they once were.

If Clarko doesn’t have a win in the first month and a half of footy I think he’ll be in strife(no idea what his contract situation is, mind you).
Roos board expected 6-8 wins in 2024 and neither the wins nor the development came.

Agree with many that Beveridge simply has to go.

Riding on the heroics of almost a decade ago, yet had only son finals in the 2 years his club made the GF.

Crazy they continue to back him in.

I think with Bevo his timing has just been perfect to keep his job. The flag year and the following years there was a heap of optimism about him. Then he makes a Grand Final which has bought him a few more years. A few bad runs with injuries, a few patches of good form. He's even done enough that I think he would easily walk into another senior coaching position. Plenty of clubs would look at him currently.

Nah... won 2 finals in 2023, Made finals again in 2024.

If Vossy got sacked at the blues after that elim final loss vs brisbane, Thats like North Melbourne sacking Brad Scott after those 2 finals wins in 2015 and making an Elim final in 2016.

That was precisely when the wheels started falling off for Scott at North, end of 2016. We got belted in the Elim, and then he got rid of all those senior players at the same time including Boomer. We've been in free fall since and never recovered.

Absolutely!
Bard should've been moved on either at the end of 2016 or 17.
Then started a full rebuild while Cunners, JZ, Goldy, Higgo and Taz had plenty of footy left in them.

Should be an active offseason for coaches.
The following teams need a new coach at the end of the year:
Port
Melbourne
Bulldogs
West Coast.
Brad Scott and Voss on thin ice.
