Gilly was a unicorn, we'll probably never see someone like him again.

De Villiers and Sangakkara only kept for part of their careers, and played their best cricket as specialist batsmen.
Yep, and when teams pick a keeper based mostly on batsmanship, or make a batsman keep, it ends badly.

What people tend to forget is that Healy was an excellent keeper and particularly to spin and we had this bloke called Warne and the lnock of n Gilchrist at the tome was he keeping to spin

Swepson is Captain of Queensland - no demand for two spinners usually - take regular games vs sweet fa
And it's better for all the top spinners playing than not.

I'd argue a better bowler than Swepson period.

I would not say he is better. Just depends what you want. Dour and persistent vs a bit of flight and variety.
Agree with this. Swepson will cause more problems for opposition bats but will also leak more. I think Kuhnemann is a better partner for Murphy if we're putting him as number 2 right now and Lyon's successor.

In a world where Green could send down 12 overs a day, I would pair Murphy with one of Swepson or Kuhnemann on most pitches.

Especially if Marsh can maintain form for a few more years. Will extend the life of Cummins, Haze and Starc too
