Next Quiz Night at Alberton (28/7)

The Quiz Night thread about the 21/7 night has progressed to talking about doing it again this week.
Anyone interested in:
a. a meal beforehand (6:30?), or
b. just the quiz (7:30)

It's put on down at the club at Alberton and was a lot of fun.

Im planning on being there but a family commitment may keep me away, am hoping to get there a little before 7.30pm but Im still happy to book the table.

We've got "pie night" at the hockey club on Thursday night. Might get to one in the next few weeks given that we're down the Port until 6pm Thursday nights for hockey training anyway.

I don't frequent the tpfp and Im not sure that the Crows supporters would be big enough to enter Alberton.

They are both more than welcome though.

Just a reminder that the Quiz Night is on tonight at the Port Club, starting at 7.30pm.

As per my post above a table has been reserved under the name of bigfooty and I have booked this from 6pm onwards so you are safe to arrive early for a meal if you like.

I have received a message from gbear that she won't be able to attend tonight, she is suffering from a cold and would prefer not to spread it too far around so that we are all fit and well for the following week.

Im hopeful of being there tonight, will sms or call what_the on how I am going a little later today.

It was a fantastic night. We came third, only 3 points behind the winners.
Powerstuff and Fullartonpower, you will both be pleased to know that I spoke to the guy who runs it afterwards and told him that Sodium Chloride is definitely NaCl not NaCL.

Yes it is. Anyone worth a grain of salt would know that it's NaCl too.
