Missed a trick, should have had a few overs at Rohit in particular before stumps.

Yeah I reckon Aussies missed a trick. The draw comes into play now but Aussies still favourites. At 6/99 it was game on but India fluffed their chances from that point on. They are not a great fielding side at all and a team of Dads army these days. 5 or 6 overs at India tonight and I reckon they could have been 2 wickets down for sure.Missed a trick, should have had a few overs at Rohit in particular before stumps.
Why have laws at all, eh Tubby? How much over is too much? Should the penguins in the middle umpire off Bazball vibes?Heard tubby in the radio earlier in the summer waffling on about the close no balls shouldn’t be called as it’s no much of an advantage.
So my thinking is why go so close to the line if it’s not an advantage
Exactly. If they were to be a bit lenient in some situations then they can never not be lenient. And if they are lenient for somebody who overstepped by a centimetre then two centimetres is only a little bit more so why not be lenient for that? Or 3 centimetres? Or a bit more? Why have laws at all, eh Tubby? How much over is too much? Should the penguins in the middle umpire off Bazball vibes?
The trick was missed earlier in the day - by the time a declaration was an option, Australia didn’t have enough runs on the board to risk it. Two or three overs weren’t worth it.Missed a trick, should have had a few overs at Rohit in particular before stumps.

I love test cricket.
Do our sri lanka tests come into play for this?Speaking of, a fair one over at Centurion Park just finished too.
Saffers needing 148 to win over Pakistan... Were 8-99, but Jansen & Rabada got them home.
This win locks SA into the World Test Final... They will play whoever does best out of Australia & India for the rest of this series. 2 draws or 1 win each is enough for Aus, but will obviously mean not winning the Border-Gavasker Trophy.

A 2 test series is incredibly forgetable, to be fair.Yeah, they do. Apologies, I forgot about them.
It's still a bit messy, but it's explained as well as can be in this article:
WTC final scenarios: South Africa through, but what about India, Australia and Sri Lanka?
If not the remaining two Border-Gavaskar Trophy Tests, then Australia's visit to Sri Lanka will decide who meets South Africa at Lord's in June 2025www.espncricinfo.com
South Africa really should have been banned from the WTC after sending a third-string test team to New Zealand early this year. It's a bit of a joke that they've reached the final on the back of just one test win against India and nothing against Australia or India. However, I suppose this is a good thing if it encourages them to start caring about test cricket again.Speaking of, a fair one over at Centurion Park just finished too.
