I have a feeling that they knew what they were doing when they gave the No.18 to this kid. He seems like he will be able to handle it and at the same time not let it go to his head. I was very impressed with him and he is really looking forward to his time at North. Glenn Archer is his manager so he should be headed in the right direction, he mentioned that Glenn had given him his (one of I suppose) car to drive around in. I will be suprised if you all dont feel the same about him in a couple of years time, of course it all stems on how well he can play football etc. but I think the No 18 is in good hands. :D :D
I also liked Jesse Smith, I hope his future with us is a long and successful one.

I'm assuming you're talking about Brad Moran there Daphne?

I didn't know that it had been 100% confirmed re the number 18........altohugh I was assuming that it would be. Agree with you though, from my conversation with him at the BBQ. Really impressed with him as a person. Great to hear that Archie's managing him too.

As Richie Benaud would say 'that's pretty good'. :)

Think I'd rather wear the 10.
it's in safe hands.

As for the 18 well .......... it's Brads now and that's all that matters.

You should have heard the round of applause that Brad Moran got when he answered my question (at the Shinboners dinner) about what number he was going to wear next year!

There was a lot of hootin' and a hollerin' when he said "No. 18".

It was great to hear it first hand from the horses mouth!

This guy is gold, watch him as I really think there's something special to look forward to, if personality, character and confidence (not cockyness) are a measure of future greatness.

As a friend of mine said today; "if he can be half as good as the previous owner of No. 18, we are on a winner!"

There was a similar response when Jesse announced that No. 10 may be his next year. Jesse too has great things ahead of him, he also has that X factor that forces you to think he can't possibly miss.

I know I'm souding like Big Kev, but I am excited (maybe the footy withdrawl symptoms are causing this hysteria?)
