Tbf it’s all rounders down to no.9. Wouldn’t trust them to dig in and build a partnership if needed but if Green is coming in post the 12th over (which is likely) no. 6 to no.9 can swing the bat quite well

The broadcasters, CH( have been under constant criticism from the public and media out lets over horrendous interviews.
But surely today thay took the cake.
The presentation for the Womens doubles was going really well... I think. All the right things were said and one... I think. The runners up were presented with their trophies and given time to make a speech.All good.
The the winners werre presented with their well earned trophy.But, surprise, surprise, they took the homour away from them by going to two talking female heads and Tony Jones.All they did was talk about what they had been talking about for hours, a rehash ot he rehash.

Elephant in the room is the worlds best player could well be suspended for a year in April from tennis for a doping violation yet I haven’t heard channel 9 mention it once in the last 2 weeks.

I wasn't aware of that. Just looked it up. Surprised the testing wouldn't easily tell the difference between cross contamination (which must be minute traces) and a potential performance enhancing dosage, although it seems WADA are appealing the way the law was applied, rather than claiming any intent to gain an advantage.

I had one back in the day where I'm still not sure if I was stupid or very hard done by (actually I lie, I'm still adamant I was hard done by).
My batting partner hit it and we ran a single. The throw coming in hit him and started to roll down the pitch towards me. Thinking the ball was dead in gentleman terms because it had come off my teammate, I took a step out of my crease to stop it with my bat for the keeper to pick up, only for the sneaky little w***er to run around me, pick it up, and throw down the stumps.
He appealed and my teammate umpiring had to give it out. The keeper also happened to be the captain so I asked him if he really wanted to claim that as a genuine appeal, and apparently he did. I bet he would have been the first to complain if we tried to run another off a ricochet off my teammate though.
Was I the idiot or him? I vote him.
