That's what annoys me. We cop scandalous headline when SFA evidence is apparent, yet GWS leak like a sieve yet all ok.

It actually does the rest of the League a favour though. Lose player. Get another high draft pick. Lose player..... rinse and repeat. My theory has always been that mob won't win a flag with a team full of kids who are so used to being the centre of attention throughout juniors. They lack the team cohesion and chemistry needed for a flag. Too many competing egos.

Might have something to do with the fact that GWS is not a Melbourne team and has a fairly small following.

Ratings, click-bait, public excitement levels, etc are all minimal where GWS is concerned and the AFL media's main target market is Melbourne anyway.
