I'm not sure why people would think the AFL would be transparent with their own rules when it impacts their image. Their rules state players should be named from the second strike yet how many players misteriouslyiss 4 weeks sometimes 12.

Many in society have tried recreational drugs, why would highly paid footballers be any different, well paid and no impact on body fat.

There are insidious addictive drugs out there, not sure why we really worry about out of competition issues if it is not regular and certainly not addictive

I'm happy for you to pay that price
It was one of those games where you think "well at least one of these sides will lose, right?"

Given that, not a bad result.

Cripps 32 disposals though, so there's his Brownlow defence off to a 3-vote flyer.

You have to wonder what some of the Carltank supporters are smoking.

Some think DeKoning was crap. He kept them in it

Had zero impact on the game but he’ll still sneak votes.

The Carlton hype was mystifying.

Snuck into the 8 by the length of a bee’s dick. DID NOT KICK A GOAL UNTIL ALMOST HALF TIME. Then had the most vanilla off-season of all time, traded in Nick Haynes who was cooked to anyone that was paying attention, and lost a consistently fit midfield contributor AND their second-best goalkicker.

Still very slow across the ground. Slower than us.
