Well this is awkward. I don’t think I’ve ever supported Geelong in a game against anyone, but somehow I’ve got two decent multis still alive that need them to win well and/or Stengle to kick 2 goals and they win.

Don’t gamble, kids. It puts you in horrendous life situations, like having to hope Geelong win.

Well, that’s a decent chunk of cash down the drain.

But in better news, the cats lost to ****ing St.Kilda and Smith had to sit and watch it! 😂

What will Kornes say about Macrae this week?
“Windhager was phenomenal, a genuine A+ talent, Steele was brilliant, went head to head with a prime Dangerfield and beat him, Sinclair genuinely looked like Robert Harvey 2.0”

And how about Macrae?

“Did his usual accumulating, but doesn’t hurt”.

What will Kornes say about Macrae this week?

Whilst this is funny, I wouldn’t put it past him to say something like it. He gets airtime because he’s so extreme one way or the other, never in the middle.

Massive claims after 1/2 games are just dumb at the best of times

Nathan Burke start of last quarter on 774 ABC commentary:
"Someone (!!😆) last week said Macrae shouldn't play in the middle. One of the dumbest things I've ever heard..."
At that stage Macrae had had 29, and was clean in delivery and setting up his team mates.

Burke didn't mention Kawns by name, but his fellow commentators and most listeners would have enjoyed the drive-by. 😀

What more could you want? Maybe 50 hitouts and 6 goals would have sealed the deal.
I'm rapt for Jack.

But, but, he's too one dimensional to still play mid! 🤪

Their ruckman Marshall was asked about Macrae post-match on 774. Said apart from onfield, he spends time with their young mids, going through footage and advising on positioning and always staying back at training to give feedback. Burke was also effusive in his praise post-match. If there's 2 Dogs I'll never boo or disown for playing elsewhere, it's Caleb Daniel and Jackson Macrae.

Why did Terry have to be so shit we’ve been really stuffed with father sons deserved both De Konning

Only 1 clanger too. He’s a star and I’m stoked for him

I didn’t see it all, but there were a few text book centre clearances where Jacko hit the leading forward right on the t, I mean chest with perfect little passes. Just looked all class.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Saints rate him in their B&F, I’m tipping highly.

Quality humans. Selfless and humble.

Macrae trade reminds me a bit of Leon Cameron in 99. A heart and soul type, didn't really want him to go from a sentimental aspect in particular and knew he would still go on and do good things elsewhere and he is.

I can see why he moved on and I can see that we're moving to the next generation now, but don't feel any resentment at all like you kind of expect when a player leaves, just thrilled for him that he's making it work elsewhere.

Yeah, love them or hate them, the Saints deserve a premiership, and I have no problem with Macrae laying down standards and teaching their young talent.

You know it's spilt milk and all that but Macrae was always Libba's successor in my view. Instead we reached for Sanders and I'm not seeing it.

Ultimately that may prove to be a harsh assessment and unfair on Sanders. And maybe Macrae wanted more in the here and now than we could offer whilst Libba is still afloat.

Very sorry to see him (Macrae) go but absolutely wish him well and every success possible....except when he plays us.

Very fondly remembered and always a Bullgod.
