Sydney do look great, but unfortunately finishing first doesn't get you anything in the AFL and they'll have to go the MCG to play some VFL chair sniffing team if they make the Grand Final. He's 24.5. Still young though. I think what's missing from his game is the consistent good performances against the better opposition but that's on the whole team.

He is still elite though. I wouldn't of made him Captain but I think they felt he could handle the media better than Butters.

The more likely and obvious explanation is the star players attract the heavy defensive attention and therefore cop the most illegal acts against them.
