Yeah he is, or Geelong wouldn't have trialled him as a defender and then let him go.Not as 4th in line he's not.
Can Georgiades be the number one forward, with nothing much else around him? It's harsh and you feel for the guy, but I get the sentiment. There are certainly Crows players where an injury would save us from the coaches making a poor decision
I doubt it. Dixon was a handbrake on the team last year and Marshall is very unreliable.
It gives Port the freedom to play Georgiades as their main forward (which they already should have been doing), supported by Luko and maybe a guy like Finlayson.
Hard to stop given his athletic prowess...surely you've seen his speed on the lead and his caability to stand on heads and pretty much a deadeye dick in front of goal. Can Georgiades be the number one forward, with nothing much else around him?
192cm - I would have thought he was very stoppable.
Yeah, but you have multiple options of who you can defend him with - and without other key forwards to take defensive attention, he's going to have a lot of opposition focus on blocking his leads and muscling into his marking contests.Hard to stop given his athletic prowess...surely you've seen his speed on the lead and his caability to stand on heads and pretty much a deadeye dick in front of goal.

I would so we'll have to agree to disagree I guess.Come on, lets not turn him into something that he isn't. He's never going to be one of the most dominate big men in the AFL, he will be a really good solid forward for them - but I would not call him someone who has 'athletic prowess'.
I'm happy to play Port any day with Esava in their team. Not as 4th in line he's not.
You mean like Modra was stoppage because he was only 1.88m...Can Georgiades be the number one forward, with nothing much else around him?

It never mattered much how tall Modra was. It was the height of the shoulders he was standing on that made him the brilliant spectacle he was.You mean like Modra was stoppage because he was only 1.88m...
Hence my comment. It never mattered much how tall Modra was. It was the height of the shoulders he was standing on that made him the brilliant spectacle he was.
Or they aren’t wearing a Crows jumperHence my comment.
Georgiades may not be Modra, but he is very athletic!
Anyone who doesn't recognise this, clearly hardly watches him play.
And sticky hands that would make Spider-Man proud.Hard to stop given his athletic prowess...surely you've seen his speed on the lead and his caability to stand on heads and pretty much a deadeye dick in front of goal.
