The AFL would definitely somehow come up with a last minute formula to hold the match at Alberton.
Wouldn't it be held at Adelaide oval if it were to be a Crows port gf?

Knowing Port and Kochie they'll probably feel they should be 1 million dollars richer considering 2 top 4 finishes in both men's and women's.

Nope. Higher ranked team get home ground. So probably at Norwood.

Had the AFL even considered the possibility of two teams from the same city outside Melbourne playing a grand final?

Really highlights the idiocy of the timing of the season, and the dearth of venues for sport in Adelaide.

Little over 5.5k total for the two finals today, you would think the AFL would be a bit concerned.

They should've bedded in 12 sides to get the standard higher ASAP, play 11 game season + finals.

But no, they go down the everyone gets a game path, looks like the fans have noticed.

Does anyone know if the AFLW have any KPI's to meet? or are the pay rises/more teams/longer season etc just keep on being funded by the mens comp with no questions asked?

They will obviously be favourites, but they're not invincible. Non-finalist Geelong managed a draw against them, and we came relatively close ourselves.

Far from invincible. I thought both Port and the Hawks played well, impressive given how long they have been in the competition.

I think they will need to improve defensively, it was 51 inside 50s to Hawks vs Port 29, they wouldn't want to give us that kind of access to the goals.

I still feel there is a significant gap between Brisbane, Crows and my side. It doesn't mean we can't lose to sides outside this group, there a lot of sides capable of playing good footy. That being said, I'd be disappointed if we didn't get the job done.
