If you like the wire, you will like the shield apparently, I've been told the other way around but yet to watch the wire.
I was hoping when you mentioned The Shield you meant that and not Shield of Agents :p

All time favs of shows that have finished (that come to mind):

*No order*

- The Wire
- The Sopranos
- Inbetweeners
- Seinfeld
- Curb Your Enthusiasm (hopefully it makes a comeback)
- Band of Brothers

- Mr Robot

Probs a few I've missed from both lists but they're the ones that come to mind.

Cannot believe no one has mentioned Friends.
I know it's a little older but man, such a huge hit in the 90's and early 2000's

I guess the Big Bang Theory is the Friends of the late 2000'.

Daredevil
The 100
The walking dead
Dexter
Entourage
Catfish -MTV (such a different type of series)

Ha I think you posted about Friends as I was typing it! BBT is as you say the current version of Friends. Just as good, just as silly.

Cannot agree with Catfish. Horrible scum of a show. Literally feel myself losing IQ as it continues.

The Real Housewives of *somewhere* (i want you all to die)
Mob Wives (you are pathetic human beings)

I see your "real housewives" and raise you with "keeping up with the Kardashians"

1. The 100 (Easily the best current tv show going around, if you don't watch it then get on it)
2. The Walking Dead
3. Breaking Bad
4. Pretty Little Liars
5. Inbetweeners
6. Family Guy
7. The Simpsons
8. Teen Wolf
9. The Flash
10. Packed to the Rafters (Had to put an Aussie show in there)

Meh, you don't have to be super nerdy to like good quality sci-fi.

I do find it funny when people who otherwise look down on sci-fi and fantasy shows lose their nuts over GoT.

Don't worry, I'm a sic-fi fan. I enjoyed X-Files and Star Trek next Generation and I loved Star Wars (and will be one of the first to see the new one when it opens). I'm not THAT much of a sic fi fan however! Sadly I've not seen a single episode of GoT.

I wasn't a fan of sci-fi at all when I was younger, but as I've gotten older I've started to enjoy it more.

Not sci-fi in the slightest, but Kingdom is quite a good new show.

1. Entourage
2. The Office (US)
3. Suits
4. Game of Thrones
5. Flight of the Conchords
6. Silicon Valley
7. The Office (UK)
8. Modern Family

Old School. Friends (watched an ep being filmed)

I'm interested to know if anyone here watched the British show Humans?
I've only seen the original, Swedish version which was pretty decent for the first 6-7 eps I watched before I stopped - finding subs etc was too much of a hassle in the end.
