It’s just that Carlton somehow….

They weren't really that bad. They were definitely shite in the first quarter but the difference is that they clearly stuck to their system and didn't drop their bundle when behind. They stuck tot heir system and effort and won the game.

It's actually a great lesson for rebuilding teams tbh.

Richmond have done the complete opposite of West Coast in every way. Had the good fortune of the premiership coach realising his time was up and stepped down, flushed the former premiership stars out while they still had value and smashed the mother of out the first round of a draft.

West Coast malaised under a coach in autopilot who didn't wanna give it away, stuck with his underperforming, games gone past them premiership players until the bitter end and we're now paying for that inaction with a culture of half assed effort and lots of losing.

Gold Coast with a young side used to win a handful of games at the start of the season and not much after that.

Eagles lost games because of this.
