Was paid the compensation to North, that vAFL House deemed appropriate ........ wasn't that the company line from their mouthpiece.

I am sure its just coincidence that she gifted such a generous compensation to the very Club who's Football Operations Department, she was a member of from 2016- November 2021.

The woman's integrity is as tainted as the sewage that enters the Melbourne Water's, Western Treatment Plant in Werribee.
What integrity?

Essendon revert to man-on-man that quarter (which has the effect of making those Hawthorn flankers higher up the ground accountable), and surprise, surprise, they dominate territory and start to claw their way back.

Hawthorn send back an extra to create a spare in defence in response; Essendon don't play 7 up front to make it accountable. Over the next 4 minutes Hawthorn kick two goals using overlapping numbers from the back half, initiated by the spare.

If you have momentum, don't give the opponent an out. Bad piece of coaching at the end of that quarter by B.Scott.

Credit to the Hawks for one thing - they’ve run the exact same set play kick in four times this year and nobody has gone near it.

Completely clear out one side, screen Impey’s bloke who leads from a really shallow spot so nobody thinks anything of it until it’s too late.

If they’re allowed to run it next week, oppo coaches should start being sacked.

Interesting game. Thought Essendon had the play for the majority (outside of the end of the first).
The stats back this up +34 disposals, +10 i50s, +20 HOs, +19 clearances, +23 contested possessions and +17 tackles.
They just lacked forward targets and were unable to stop Hawthorn from kicking responding goals.

And kept slipping over.
