Got at a lot of time for Pearce. He’s had to battle his way through injury but he’s one of the best defenders in the comp and seems like a decent bloke

Plays the game in the right manner too.

Deserves the captaincy and if I have to witness a Freo captain hold a premiership cup then he’s far easier to tolerate than some others they’ve had

Just to clarify, I agree with this - I'm more sceptical as to how many times he'll be fit enough to lead the team onto the field.
