Nah I think it will stick around when the pies are cruising the media get behind them like the media in perth get behind us when where up and about, the flip side is when the pies are down and out they get hammered by the media just like where getting hammered now. having watched a few other games including North - Saints - the real concern is the overflowing tallent in the AFL, we desperately need another team or two to dilute it to a safe level.

Don't forget that Sydney finished bottom 4 in 2019 and 2020. They look like what we did in 2011 and 2012 - but need a couple of years out of the 8 to round out the list build.

If it's a high elbow off the ball and the guy is concussed it's tribunal time most likely. It's not a footy act, he leaves the ground with the ball out of play and the guy leaves the ground concussed. To me that is a minimum 3 weeks. We'll have to see if any other camera angles pick it up.

The only positive I'm taking out of the Port game is Rioli will probably get 3 weeks.

At least 3 ! Essendon probably win that game if their best defender doesn't get a cheap shot and miss more than half a game

Rioli clipped him with an elbow off the ball and KOed him ?

He then got sent for scans on his jaw and played no further part .

Ridley will miss next week minimum and it probably cost essendon the game

Absolute best case for Rioli is careless, high impact and high contact which is 2 weeks

Change careless to intentional or high impact to severe and it’s off to the tribunal to face a 3 week penalty

Change both of those, so intentional and severe, and it becomes 4 weeks

Van rooyen gets a week for a spoil that misses the ball by an inch and collected Ballard high .

Bit stiff on the kid for trying to make a contest with his eyes on the ball .

This concussion class action has the afl spooked yet guys like cripps get off for bumps when they leave the ground and then win a brownlow

Yeah, it's not like he doesn't have a history of undisciplined acts.

Putting aside the Gatorade and weed, he'd do something like this most weeks for us too. Late bumps, steaming in as third man, giving away frees. If he wasn't so talented, he'd have been a bloody liability.

Talent will only get you so far though...
