It was always going to be the Tasmanian Devils and quite rightly.

The logo looks good and green makes sense for the team’s primary colour not least because no one else uses it

But the jumper is average. As uninspiring as the Gold Coast jumper

Slap a logo in the middle with some coloured accents seems to be the norm these days. Even GWS’ jumper has regressed the equivalent of this with a yoke.

Shame really, because there was some absolutely cracking designs over on FJGD.

Jeebus, that is converging on foundation Fremantle areas of bad.

We're Tasmania, we have a map and a T

So we can find our way home presumably...

How long also until folks realise that in wet weather that shirt colour is going to blend in with the playing surface?

Because Green on Green isn't going to cause issues at all.

That can't be the final jumper. Surely they come up with a 2D Tassie Devil to go front and centre and the map with the T moves into the sponsor location if Tasmanian Govt are backing the team. Or they find real sponsors..

I don't mind the colours, but that jumper is aids.

It’s like that for 25 years until tasmanians are manipulated into thinking they are one people.

Then they may change. A premiership will help.

Probably should have waited until after this Saturday before announcing the team.

Doubt the AFL will go through with this if they dont get a shiny new billion dollar stadium and I doubt it gets built if Labor win power.

Logo not too bad, a little weird like I thought our new logo was in 2018 but it grew on me big time and I reckon this one will too.

Why not just increase the size of the Tassie map, put the weird little Thundermuppetcatdog head in the middle of the map.

But that's where the 'T' goes! How are you supposed to know it's a Tassie team unless it has a giant 'T' on it?!?!?

I normally despise the concept of "second teams" and I will always be wholly and solely Eagles, but as someone who has lived in Tassie and probably will again, I will have a soft spot for the Devils. Should have entered the league before the AFL's pet projects GWS and Gold Coast. Not surprised by the jumper design, but I expect it will be spiced up soon enough. Changing jumper designs regularly helps sell more merchandise after all.

A lot of teams around the world use green and play on grass (real and artificial) without problems.

Canberra Raiders,
Norwich City,
Liverpool away this year is Green and White,
Wolfsburg,
Nigeria,
Green Bay Packers,
St Etienne and so on.

To me it makes sense to use a colour not used by anyone else.

But the jumper design is awful. Looks like the one from years ago that was used by the Tas U18 team when they played in the TAC or something like that.
