If we have a gather round in WA they should be using the WACA - the activation around optus / the river with 2 games either side would be great!

I think Mandurah would be a better third venue - but would be cool having AFL in the heart of Freo.

Everyone is a little quieter now the issues are in their backyard.

Realistically the drug problem / cultural issues at WC were league wide at the time - we were just the scape goat because its cool to hate WC, and a couple of our incidents were super public.

Since then clubs like Pies, Hawks etc have had positive tests, performance enhancing, delistings etc due to drugs - but not much made of it.

Not with a 19th team coming in, makes more sense to just make a new 3rd WA team as the 20th.

Makes even more sense to cull a team and get back to 18. One of: Gold Coast, North, Saints. My preference is North or Saints. Or maybe all 3 and we get back to 16 teams.
