I was quite young then but 39 disposal in a game back then was bloody insane considering the most elite mids averaged low to mid 20 disposals again.
People point to greed but human nature is “me first”. There is no such thing as free of charge. You don’t pay for it, but someone does. It’s not free.
But I get what you were trying to say as I am ok with health system. But it’s not free.

Our healthcare system at least is free at the point of service. Our government themselves plus our tax money pays for the system which is how we have Medicare for all so it's not completely free, just free at the point of service when we need the healthcare such as going to the hospital and such.
Judd's still the best we've ever had.
It's between him and Peter Matera as to who could destroy a game in the shortest possible time.
I still rate Matera's two finals vs. Geelong in 1992 as the best I've seen. Ripped them apart in the first game and everyone knew he was the key to the GF. Geelong multi teamed him all game but he still destroyed them. Just shows how good he was.
Yeah I'd say Matera's Grand Final was the single greatest performance in a game by an Eagle, given the stakes.
I haven't watched the other final multiple times so have no recollection.

It’s less of a financial burden when an illness appears suddenly, yes. But in USA, people make it sound like people die every time they have a rash as they can’t see a doctor. That’s not the case.
Plenty die from stuff we take for granted here though.
And if they don't die, they go bankrupt, then die.
Australia has a life expectancy of 84 yrs the US is 72 yrs, I'll take a wild stab and say that has a bit to do with the respective health systems.

Quality of food would be a close second if not number one.
It’s 77 and health system isn’t there to make you less obese, stop oversize servings, deaths from addictions due to Mexican cart or stop you surviving from lack of gun control policy.
Another one to add to the list of stupid things I've managed to achieve in the holidays:

Yep , google lied to me. WHO says US 76.4 and Aus 83.1. My point still stands, I wrote the heath system had something to do with it not wholly responsible. A country spends more than any other on health care and is ranked 48th in life expectancy but the two facts aren't indicitave of inefficient health care system is a hard sell.
