Yeah U18s is a mess generally, as are the state leagues. It’s all cobbled together from independent pieces with contrasting needs, bent to the will of the commission. To hell with the country kids that couldn’t get a scholarship, or the regional/remote/interstate kids flat out getting in front of recruiters at all, unless they’re in the NGAs.
Is this where they could do club zoning to get more country kids access?
If there were concerns over rich clubs and fights over zone borders could you do like a pool model where groups of clubs are in charge of their own areas and when it came time to draft would bid among themselves
