Not that I haven't been there, well, maybe not the phone and the tv
Seems to be a familiar thing with them. Anytime someone tries to bring in a bit more defense it falls over.

I’ll point out that in 2014 they took Clem smith at pick 60. Harris Andrews went at 61Some of their top 30 drafting has been gloriously bad in the past 10 years.
2014 Blaine Boekhurst, Dillon Viojo Rainbow (Touk Miller and Braydon Maynard were the next 2 picked after DVR…ooof that hurts)
2015 Weitering, McKay, Curnow (nailed it)
2016 Petrevski-seton, Fisher
2017 Paddy Dow, Lachie o’brien (in the top ten), De Koning
2018 Sam Walsh, Liam Stocker
2019 Kemp, Sam Pilph (could have had Cody Weightman or Kosi Pickett if they had kept pick 9…kosi was a bit of a draft bolter though)
2020 no top 30 pick (got Saad)
2021 Motlop (has shown glimpses), got Cerra who has been above average
2022 Ollie Hollands, Cowan (both have had good first seasons)
Pretty sure they also telegraphed a huge interest in Kyle Langford but no interest in Laverde so we knew to pick Langford first in our picks that bookended the Boekhurst pickI’ll point out that in 2014 they took Clem smith at pick 60. Harris Andrews went at 61

Yes, apparently we rated Laverde at 8 and Langford at 13. There’s a hilarious excerpt in Emma quayles book about the 2014 draft relating to Carlton. Something to the effect of their draft rankings seemed to be the reverse of every other club.Pretty sure they also telegraphed a huge interest in Kyle Langford but no interest in Laverde so we knew to pick Langford first in our picks that bookended the Boekhurst pick

It's funny to laugh at and all, but when it gets to this stage you have to ask "is this (level of fanaticism) healthy for me?"
jmoo wan your like and lack of witty remark makes me uneasy.
This sounds like Holden Caulfield and all, too.it's pretty irresponsible of SEN to post it without any type of condemnation. come finals time SEN will probably report/quote people when the usual statements are made linking loses to an increase in domestic violence but they've fumbled the bag here (I will say that the tone of second one makes me suspect it could be a 'joke' call in but then it just changes to should SEN be posting it, image of text and all, without stating it's a parody?)
and perhaps one day a team will suffer a really disappointing loss and everyone will say "well at least they tired really hard!! and they put in a lot of passion into it!!!". It really is just the laziest form of analysis/discussion. chatgpt could write these "angry fan" scripts once you include a mixture of gambling odds from pre-season & before the game and the final margin of the game
Smashing a wine glass and the telly shows a lot of passion .. for being a tool. It's funny to laugh at and all, but when it gets to this stage you have to ask "is this (level of fanaticism) healthy for me?"
