And we tried to get him before he went back to Melbourne so we must like him. He has 8 years as an assistant with two clubs and has been the defensive coach at both.

I thought he was a moral for the GWS job, and all the buzz is relationship building is his biggest strength which will be important for a fractured club like ours.
I hope he applies.

16 years assistant coaching experience at 3 different clubs is a pretty strong resume for a first time coach, hope he goes well. Has long been mentioned as a senior coaching candidate every time there’s a vacancy.

Josh Kelly gets by on reputation a lot, he's been pretty good this season but he's the kind of guy that selectors almost automatically put in there just because.

Rioli has been good, but whether he's been AA good, im not sure.
Tex similar. Again, has been good all year, but that good? I'd have gone Wright over Tex & I reckon Nick Daicos was stiff to miss over Rioli.

I’d take 2MPs durability over the goals/game average. I.e. he didn’t miss 3 games for urging our VFL team to commit a hate crime.
